PIPER-HEIDSIECK Is ‘Red Carpet Ready’!

The PIPER-HEIDSIECK limited-edition magnum bottle, designed exclusively for the 88th Academy Awards®, is ready to take its place on the red carpet. Will it make the “Best Dressed” lists? You be the judge:

With only 1,000 bottles produced, the “Red Carpet Ready” magnum will be poured at the Oscars® Nominee Luncheon, giving all 230 nominees a “sneak peek” of what they will be drinking at this year’s Oscars® ceremony and at the Governors Ball, the Academy’s official post-Oscars® celebration.

An exceptional bottle for an exceptional night, the PIPER-HEIDSIECK Cuvee Brut magnum was designed by the 230-year-old French house for the occasion with the word “Oscars” and the number “88” forming a golden “tiara” wrapped by hand around each bottle. PIPER-HEIDSIECK believes that the grandeur of Oscars night demands nothing less than a magnum.

Stunning as it is, the bottle won’t outshine its contents, the Cuvée Brut that epitomizes the PIPER-HEIDSIECK style — a classic, structured, full-bodied Champagne with harmonious balance. The blend is mainly Pinot Noir incorporating more than 100 crus from the Champagne region in France.  A clear, golden Champagne, Cuvée Brut’s delicate, fine bubbles result from an extended maturation.  The wine has a juicy, fleshy pear and golden grape texture, with a finish that narrows to citrus and grapefruit flavors.
